Anti-Bacterial Effect of Nano-Silver Particles Dispersed in Microfiber Eyewear Cleaning Clothes

Abstract
|
|
|
Purpose : This study was performed to examine the anti-bacterial effect of nano-silver particles dispersed in eyewear cleaning clothes.
Methods : We compared numbers of bacteria from eyewear cleaning clothes with or without dispersed nano-silver particles.
Results : An obvious decrease of bacterial number was observed in the nano-silver cleaning clothes, implying high anti-bacterial effect of the nano-silver particles on the bacteria on spectacle lenses.
Conclusion : Development of anti-bacterial eyewear cleaning clothes using nanotechnology is expected in near future.
